The Picmonkey installs from the Picmonkey Store, so it is ready to use as soon as you download it. Setup is not explained in the Picmonkey, but in the Picmonkey Store listing, so be sure to read it carefully. We missed the directions initially and experienced numerous setbacks in pairing with both an Picmonkey and an iPhone during separate tests. Even after getting the pairings to work properly, there were occasional interruptions.
